I started working in advertising one month after finishing my five year law degree in Lisbon. I really
did not know what I was doing, neither knew anything about art direction or copywriting, but I knew
I wanted to do something creative and also solve problems. I joined a very good portuguese advertising
agency called MSTF Partners where I ended up staying two years until coming to London.
During this time I was introduced to the basics of creative and strategic thinking, did my first campaigns/
ads and learned from some of the best creative talent in Portugal. That helped me win two advertising awards
as a junior creative: the first prize in a young creatives competition (in 2009) awarded by CCP
(the Portuguese Creative's Club) and the second prize (in 2010) for the Young Lions competition.
Following my will to learn more, from different people, outside my "comfortable zone" and widen my
horizons I enrolled the creative advertising course in SCA 2.0, which I've just finished and had prepared me
for my work experience here in London.
Apart from work, I spend a lot of time dancing, which I have been doing since I was 3 years old), doing yoga,
drawing, taking pictures and just enjoying everyday.
I love gin and tonic, pretending I am a rockstar playing my "guitar" on the sofa, watching the rain fall and
papaya. I hate people that shake hands with the hands soft, people that constantly ask for food bites and
people that don't travel.
